Japanese figure manufacturer MegaHouse's anime-themed high-quality character figure series, 'Lucrea', has announced its latest product, 'Ririsa Suzunomiya', from the anime "Rock 'n' Roll is a Lady's Hobby", slated for release in December 2025.
The protagonist, Ririsa Suzunomiya, comes from a commoner family. Influenced by her father from a young age, she developed a deep love for rock music and possesses extraordinary guitar playing skills. However, after her mother remarried into the "Suzunomiya family" of the real estate magnate, Ririsa sacrificed all her past commoner interests to protect her mother's status within the family. Upon transferring to the prestigious "Sakurashin Girls' Academy", she quickly became a popular figure due to her impeccable aristocratic demeanor and exceptional academic and athletic performance. It wasn't until she serendipitously encountered Otoha Kurogane, a genuine young lady practicing drums, and performed a song with her, that Ririsa's passion for rock was reignited.
The 'Lucrea Ririsa Suzunomiya' figure is crafted at a 1/8 scale, standing approximately 24 cm tall, bringing to life the cool scene of Ririsa playing her electric guitar and fully unleashing her true nature. The sculpt meticulously captures her voluminous twin-tail hairstyle, with paintwork faithfully reproducing the green gradient at the hair ends. Her originally elegant uniform skirt is also recreated, transforming into sharp jagged edges as depicted in the original work when she plays the guitar. Combined with her flowing twin-tails and the cable wrapped around her body, an incredibly dynamic scene is created.
Her soulful electric guitar is painted to reproduce its high-gloss pink body, with intricate details like the strings and various knobs faithfully recreated. The base, featuring a stage and amplifier, is presented with a dramatically distorted perspective, allowing the power of Ririsa's guitar performance to be felt from every angle. Furthermore, the head includes interchangeable face parts, allowing her expression to be changed from a standard smile to a wild grin revealing jagged teeth.
