Coming in second was fellow Disney release "Moana 2," which earned a net profit of $415 million from a $1.05 billion gross on a $405 million total spend. "Deadpool & Wolverine" slashed its way to third place, securing a $400 million net profit with a $1.33 billion box office haul against $580 million in total costs.

Lionsgate's "Borderlands" ranked third among the biggest bombs, losing $80 million with a total revenue of $104 million on a $184 million spend.
