Unleash Your Powers, the Moment to Reverse Destiny is Here! Hasbro Marvel Legends "X-Men Nemesis Series" Unboxing Report

"Mutation" is a key element in biological "Evolution," but what happens when this phenomenon is applied to the human species? In 1963, the comic book series "X-Men," created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, explored this very serious "What if" scenario: Can Mutants, born with extraordinary abilities, truly be accepted by humanity and coexist in harmony? Or are they destined for two divergent paths of extreme opposition? By overtly analogizing real-world social issues like racial/gender identity/religious discrimination, Marvel's X-Men gained popularity precisely because of its high degree of social critique and thought-provoking nature, making it a profoundly deep allegorical work.

The latest theme from the "Marvel Legends" line by the renowned American toy company "Hasbro" is none other than the X-Men we've just mentioned. So, how does it measure up? Let our unboxing report guide you through the charm of Marvel Legends!

▼Here are the stars of today's unboxing, including seven individually boxed figures and one BAF (Build A Figure, meaning you can assemble a separate figure by collecting the parts included in each box).

▼The side of the boxes features character portraits taken from the comics, making it easy for collectors to identify them.

▼"Wolverine," a classic member of the X-Men. Born James Howlett, but more commonly known as "Logan," he possesses a mutant healing factor and a skeleton bonded with Adamantium, complete with razor-sharp claws, making him a nearly invincible warrior. This figure's design is based on his appearance in the 2023 third volume of "X-Treme X-Men." Facing his nemesis "Ogun's" renewed psychic assault on Kitty Pryde, Logan dons a black suit to fight alongside his X-Treme X-Men teammates!

▼Utilizing a new body mold, the previously exposed joint pins at the elbows, knees, and other areas have been concealed, offering both aesthetic appeal and high articulation.

▼The head sculpt uses digital printing to capture Wolverine's roaring facial features.

▼By making full use of the articulated joints throughout the body, you can effortlessly strike various dynamic and static cool poses. This is the greatest selling point of Marvel Legends!

▼It comes with multiple interchangeable hand parts, allowing for a wider range of expressive hand gestures.

▼Wolverine fans certainly can't miss this one. Go get it now!

▼"Husk," real name Paige Guthrie, comes from the famous mutant Guthrie family and is the younger sister of Cannonball. She possesses a unique mutant ability to shed her skin, revealing a new layer underneath. She can mentally control the material of this new skin, transforming it into anything from rubber, glass, wood, and stone to metal, and even gas or animal hides. She was once a member of Generation X.

▼The figure is depicted in her classic Generation X uniform.

▼The head sculpt in a calm state features excellent printing.

▼It also includes an alternate head sculpt showing her peeling away her skin to reveal a metallic layer as she activates her powers.

▼A shed skin accessory is also included, which can be paired with the figure to recreate the moment she unleashes her ability.

▼Will this give us a chance to assemble the Generation X team?

▼"Gambit," based on the Age of Apocalypse version from the parallel universe Earth-295. Real name Remy LeBeau, he is the leader of the X-Ternals, a group of mutants living on the edge as thieves, bounty hunters, and revolutionaries. He can charge objects with kinetic energy, causing them to explode. He shares a past romance with Rogue and is more melancholic and composed than his Earth-616 counterpart, possessing a deep character charm.

▼Gambit's signature bo staff is included as an accessory. The folds and texture of the cloak are rendered with impressive realism.

▼A mature, brooding, and handsome head sculpt. Who wouldn't love it?

▼This figure also uses the new pinless body mold, which is a visual treat!

▼How can you resist such a cool character?

▼"Nightcrawler," real name Kurt Darkhölme, from the parallel universe of Earth-295. Born with the mutant ability of teleportation, this version of Nightcrawler is darker and more ruthless than his main universe counterpart, specializing in assassination missions. He later joined Earth-616's X-Force, becoming the team's deadly assassin. It's worth noting that this figure was the winner of the 2024 fan vote.

▼He is featured in his gray and black X-Force uniform and comes with his preferred saber.

▼The head sculpt has an interesting salt-and-pepper hair presentation, and of course, his signature red tattoo over his left eye is present.

▼A ferocious roaring alternate head is also included for collectors to swap out freely.

▼The joint at the base of the tail can be freely rotated to match his poses.

▼Striking a leaping, sword-wielding pose is a piece of cake!

▼We need more X-Force members, please Hasbro!

▼"Cyclops," real name Scott Summers, is Professor X's most prized student and the most iconic leader of the X-Men. He leads the mutants with strict discipline against all external threats. He can emit powerful concussive blasts from his eyes and must wear a special visor to control this incredible power.

▼This figure's design is based on Cyclops's first uniform from his time with X-Factor.

▼The head sculpt features his classic full head cowl and visor look.

▼The alternate head has a shouting expression, and the visor has a slot to attach the included special effects part.

▼The incredibly domineering Optic Beam is neither late nor absent!

▼This is the captain I've been waiting for!!

▼Of course, Cyclops's signature visor-touching left hand is still present and accounted for.

▼With this design and these accessories, this is an absolute must-have!

▼"Fabian Cortez," a mutant codenamed "Power," was once a fanatical follower of Magneto and founded the Acolytes to assist him. However, the ambitious Fabian was not content with this role. He secretly manipulated the Acolytes and betrayed Magneto, instigating numerous terrorist attacks and conflicts, becoming a target for both the X-Men and Magneto.

▼Although a relatively obscure character, no detail in his design has been spared. The drape of the cape is simply superb.

▼The printed head sculpt exhibits unexpectedly exquisite detail.

▼The body also utilizes the pinless mold.

▼The included effect parts can be used freely.

▼Obscure but not overlooked. I believe everyone can deeply appreciate this commitment, right?

▼"Marrow," real name Sarah, can rapidly grow her bones, controlling their shape and appearance, and even pull them out to use as weapons. Growing up in the dark and squalid underworld, she struggled to survive in a dog-eat-dog reality. She once participated in several radical anti-human massacres before joining Professor X's family, where she gradually learned how to get along with her teammates.

▼The figure adopts her deeply ingrained classic look, with the bones protruding from her body being a standout feature.

▼The head sculpt is also created using digital printing.

▼The protruding vertebrae and bones on her back are intricately sculpted, and the asymmetrical design is very stylish.

▼The body is also made with the new mold, greatly enhancing the articulation of the female figure.

▼The two included bone knives can be held freely, and their surface texture and paint application are quite realistic.

▼A whirlwind of dual blades! This gorgeous bone girl, aren't you all going to add one to your collection?

▼This series' BAF—"Nemesis." Called "son" by Apocalypse, he is also the most cold-blooded and ruthless killing machine under his command. He mercilessly slaughtered Apocalypse's dissenters before his physical body was destroyed by Magneto. His remaining energy form was then sealed within a massive suit of metal armor, turning him into the even more terrifying threat known as "Holocaust."

▼The helmet's faceplate is made of transparent parts, allowing a direct view of the head and energy flames inside.

▼Here's the view with it open. The skull's jaw is articulated, and it has a neck joint for free angle adjustment.

▼The bronze color of the armor is also beautifully rendered, and the cast-iron-like surface texture is realistically presented in 3D.

▼The energy conduit on the back of the right arm is made of a semi-transparent soft tube, which doesn't severely hinder articulation. This is a huge plus! Absolutely awesome!

▼And that concludes our unboxing report of the Hasbro Marvel Legends X-Men Nemesis Series. Looking to expand and complete your mutant collection? Then there's no need to hesitate. Hurry up and join the ranks of Marvel Legends collectors!
