PLEX Co., Ltd. of Japan, in collaboration with X-PLUS Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from their "Toho 30cm Series" of soft vinyl models featuring Toho's special effects monsters: the "Godzilla (1995) Clear Orange Ver.", slated for release in August 2025.
In the film, a violent nuclear fission reaction caused by high-purity natural uranium in the Earth's crust led to the instantaneous disappearance of Godzilla's home, Birth Island. Godzilla's homing instinct became abnormal, causing the nuclear energy within his body to become abnormally active, continuously heating up like a massive nuclear weapon. His scorching skin took on a super-high-temperature crimson state, and even the power of his atomic breath became stronger. However, his body temperature was approaching the critical meltdown temperature of 1200℃, bringing him to the brink of death.
The "Toho 30cm Series Godzilla (1995) Clear Orange Ver." is based on the regular version released in 2017. It features an impressive height of approximately 32 cm, powerfully depicting Godzilla glaring fiercely forward and roaring with an open mouth. The fierce expression on Godzilla's head, the intricate skin textures and muscle lines across his body, and his thick, massive tail are all meticulously sculpted.
The special feature of this product is that all body parts are made from transparent material. Through gradient orange-red spray painting, it recreates Godzilla's internal nuclear meltdown, with his entire body emitting a scorching red glow. Depending on the angle of light reflection and viewing angle, the model reveals various appearances.
