Marvel Studios' latest blockbuster, "Thunderbolts*", is currently playing in theaters worldwide. Many Marvel fans flocked to theaters during its opening week, but they weren't the only ones showing up. A number of cast members currently filming "Avengers: Doomsday" gathered last night for a private Marvel screening of "Thunderbolts*" and happily posed for photos.

Attendees at the screening included Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Channing Tatum, Vanessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Mackie (the current Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing), among many other stars.

"Thunderbolts*" indeed has a crucial connection to "Avengers: Doomsday". Its second post-credit scene specifically features the Fantastic Four's spaceship traveling from another universe into the main MCU timeline. While this appears to set up "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" (likely referring to the upcoming "The Fantastic Four" film), director Jake Schreier recently hinted in various interviews that the scene was actually shot weeks ago on the "Avengers: Doomsday" set, directly admitting he did not direct that entire post-credit sequence.

In a recent interview published by Entertainment Weekly (EW), Schreier further revealed that the second post-credit scene is actually a clip taken directly from the main "Avengers: Doomsday" film, stating that what viewers saw was "a small preview of 'Avengers: Doomsday'."
