[Unboxing] Design COCO - Hatsune Miku

Hello everyone, today I'm unboxing and sharing Design COCO's Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2023.
Magical Mirai is held annually, and the character design changes each year.
Previously, I collected every Magical Mirai PVC figure, but later realized it was too much of a challenge for my limited living space as an ordinary person.
So, I decisively sold off all my Magical Mirai PVC figures and switched to collecting Nendoroids for this series, which significantly reduced the space pressure.

However, the overall aesthetic of Magical Mirai 2023 is quite different from previous years, with this year's theme being "HERO."
Hatsune Miku's overall image is less cute and sweet, but more cool and trendy. The entire design was handled by illustrator "LAM."
The moment I saw the main visual, I was immediately captivated by this distinct image, so I made an exception and pre-ordered the PVC figure.

Here are the photos:

The box art uses the same repeated patterns, creating a vibrant and lively feel.
One side of the box features the original illustration, while the other shows the actual product, allowing for easy comparison of fidelity.

The contents consist of a few simple parts:
The main body, twin-tails, megaphone, and a speaker-shaped base.

Body rotation:

Detailing:
The eyes are truly beautifully painted; when admiring this piece, one's gaze is involuntarily drawn to the eyes.
The sharpness of the hair is decent, and the earrings are unremarkable.

The goggles on her head have a built-in reflective coating, and the details are also acceptable.

The long twin-tails connect to the head via a ring-shaped component, meaning these aren't true twin-tails this time ~XD.
The twin-tails feature red accents, echoing the overall color scheme of the design.

The megaphone's details are quite intricate, with virtually nothing to fault.

I find the hip-hop style necklace unsatisfactory; all parts of the chain are fused together in a blob, essentially prioritizing the overall look over fine details.
The clothing is decent, and the inner lining of the jacket also features some gradient painting, not just a flat red.

The details on the left hand are mediocre; they look fine from a distance but don't hold up to close inspection.

The cargo pants and long boots are well-executed, and the shoelaces on the long boots are surprisingly exquisite.

The base is also adorned with the same material patterns as the outer box.
However, it would be even better if the base had a lighting function. The official PVC promotional images initially Photoshopped in lighting effects.
Personally, I don't quite approve of using promotional photos that include features not present in the actual product.

That concludes the introduction to the contents.
For me personally, it's a collectible worth owning. As for whether I recommend it to everyone?
Magical Mirai is an annual event, so in terms of commemorative value, it's not a must-have.
It's more appropriate to simply judge whether you like it based on the character design itself.
