Danish LEGO toy company recently announced a massive amount of new product information for the second half of 2025. Today, let's take a look at the Technic series information! The editor has similarly divided the presentation into two parts, upper and lower, based on set numbers. This "upper" part features four new products with numbers 42208–42211.
First, among the four sets in this upper part, there's Aston Martin's highly futuristic Valkyrie, and the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) driven by Brian O'Conner (portrayed by Paul Walker) in the movie "2 Fast 2 Furious". The completed 41 cm long GT-R not only showcases the Technic series' consistent classic features: front-wheel steering, front and rear suspension systems, adjustable rear wing, and a six-cylinder engine (with movable pistons) visible when the hood is opened, but it also features a debut "drifting mechanism"! This allows you to raise the car body and enjoy a drifting experience even in LEGO racing. After entering the driver's seat, there are even three NOS nitrous oxide bottles waiting for you.
Next up is a LEGO model based on Volvo's first 20-ton electric wheel loader. Built with 973 pieces, the loader includes rich play features such as a lifting shovel and the movement of three blue gears visible when the hood is opened. Another set, predominantly white, is a highly sci-fi lunar exploration space vehicle created by LEGO in collaboration with space company Lunar Outpost. In addition to the largest lunar rover, it also comes with a mining rover and a smaller, lightweight lunar exploration vehicle, the MAPP rover.
MAPP should be an abbreviation for Mobile Autonomous Prospecting Platform.
