Japan's MEGAHOUSE toy company has unveiled a new product in its "Desktop Army" articulated figure series: the "2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B)" articulated figure, based on the popular anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a". The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, with an estimated release in October 2025!
"NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" is produced by A-1 Pictures and is an adaptation of "NieR:Automata," a spin-off from the "Drakengard" series. YoRHa No.2 Type B (2B for short), whose name's "B" stands for "Battle," is a combat android of YoRHa. Like other YoRHa androids, she has silver-white hair, a calm and collected personality, exquisite combat skills, and an indomitable will.
This Desktop Army 2B stands approximately 8 cm tall. Utilizing a newly designed body, it faithfully recreates 2B's appearance from the series in an adorable proportion, with sculpted details accurately capturing the folds of her Gothic-style attire. Accessories include two pre-painted weapons: the small sword "Virtuous Contract" and the large sword "Virtuous Treaty," which can be attached to 2B's back using the included clear parts!
Furthermore, it includes the support unit Pod 042, equipped with multiple 3mm diameter connection holes and 2x3mm universal Desktop Army series model joints, allowing for free assembly and transformation to recreate scenes from the show. It can also be combined with other Desktop Army series products to create unique play experiences!
