Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY and MAX FACTORY have collaborated to launch the 'PLAMATEA' model kit series. A limited edition "PLAMATEA Guts Berserker Armor Ver. Metallic Color Edition" based on "Berserk" will be sold at the SMILE FEST 2025 event in Osaka in June 2025, with a reference price of 7,500 JPY.
In "Berserk," when protagonist Guts battles the "Flame Dragon" Grunbeld, he dons the cursed armor "Berserker Armor" forged by dwarves. This armor intensely amplifies the dormant hatred and resentment deep within him. The surging, exhilarating rage numbs pain, replaced by a fierce, berserk impulse, allowing Guts to fight wildly with strength beyond human limits! He effortlessly knocks away the Flame Dragon and shatters shields that even cannonballs couldn't penetrate.
The "PLAMATEA Guts Berserker Armor Ver. Metallic Color Edition" model kit is a special specification product featuring metallic paint application on the armor and bloodstain paint on the Dragon Slayer! It faithfully recreates Guts' appearance as he is consumed by the Berserker Armor, becoming the "Beast of Darkness." No additional painting is required to achieve the sharp and robust metallic texture of the armor, elevating the overall visual effect. The colossal "Dragon Slayer," taller than Guts himself, gains an even more ferocious aura when stained with blood. The asymmetrical eyes are also reproduced with pre-painted parts. Combined with interchangeable hand parts and a wired fabric cape, you can enjoy recreating various scenes from the series.
