Kotobukiya "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Wolf" 1/7 Scale PVC Statue Over 40cm, Grandly Recreating the Battle Scene with the Corrupted Monk!

Japanese toy company Kotobukiya (コトブキヤ) will release its latest product, the "Sekiro" 1/7 scale high-quality statue, based on the popular game "Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice." The suggested retail price is 85,800 JPY, scheduled for release in March 2026!

"Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice" (SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE) is a high-difficulty Japanese samurai action game developed and released by From Software. The story is set in late 16th-century Sengoku Japan, taking place in the fictional land of Ashina. Players assume the third-person role of Wolf, a lone ninja loyal to the Divine Heir, Kuro. As Ashina faces its demise, Kuro is abducted, and Wolf suffers the defeat of having his left arm severed... To save his master, Wolf embarks on a samurai's path of revenge, risking life and limb, armed with exceptional martial arts and an unexpectedly acquired Shinobi Prosthetic.

Kotobukiya's "SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE Sekiro" 1/7 scale statue, with its impressive size exceeding 40 cm, thoroughly recreates the atmosphere of the Sengoku period and the fantastical, dazzling world of "Sekiro" from composition, sculpting, to materials! Set against the backdrop of the vermilion bridge in front of the Guardian Ape's Watering Hole, it captures the moment Wolf lunges at the Corrupted Monk in a desperate struggle amidst a flurry of red autumn leaves; conveying a sense of power and speed through its dynamic pose!

Utilizing a special PVC material that can reproduce realistic textures, it faithfully recreates Wolf's expressionless, weathered face. Details such as the rough fabric texture of his attire and the complex, intricate structure of the Shinobi Prosthetic are rendered with realistic texture using hard yet flexible "PU (polyurethane) resin," showcasing a delicate paint application.

To express the texture of light shining through the tips of the leaves, the autumn leaves are made from translucent material, each meticulously hand-painted; the accumulated snow on the bridge is depicted in its naturally melted form after coming into contact with wood and fallen leaves.

The katana (Kusabimaru) is made from resin containing metal. Furthermore, the grappling hook released from the Shinobi Prosthetic has an embedded steel wire, allowing it to be freely bent to create various wire actions.

Included is a "Sculptor's Idol" (Jizo Bodhisattva in swaddling clothes) made from a mixture of resin, stone, and fabric, recreating the ancient and realistic texture from the game.
