Denmark's LEGO Group has officially unveiled its latest annual staple, the Advent Calendar, a product designed to bring a daily surprise throughout December in anticipation of Christmas. The new release is the City series set number 60475, the "2025 Advent Calendar"!
LEGO Advent Calendars are special products where the packaging box is divided into small compartments. Each day, by opening the compartment corresponding to the date, you can get a minifigure or a brick-built mini-model. Typically, the main character highlighted in the set is placed in compartment number 24. In addition to LEGO's own City series, there are also versions based on classic franchises such as MARVEL, Star Wars, and Disney.
This year's City series Advent Calendar is, in my personal opinion, the most luxurious one in recent years! In addition to the classic Santa Claus LEGO minifigure, it also includes three special costume minifigures: a polar bear suit, a reindeer suit, and a Christmas tree suit! Any one of these three minifigures would be worthy of being the grand prize in previous City series Advent Calendars. Furthermore, there's also Mrs. Claus, an alien with a helmet, and three small animals: a polar bear, a dog, and a cat.
For the brick-built models, there's a snowman, a space vehicle, a toy train, a toy remote control race car, a skateboard, a snack cart, and other rich content. Although the Christmas tree costume might later appear in different color variations in minifigure blind bags or as part of the Build-A-Minifigure (BAF) parts lineup, this year's City series Advent Calendar is an absolute must-buy!
