This time, in collaboration with sculptor Sagata Kick (サガタキック), they announce the new item from the "Ultraman Series": the "KRS × Sagata Kick Brainwave Monster Gyango" soft vinyl figure. The suggested retail price is 21,780 JPY, with an estimated release in July 2025.
Brainwave Monster Gyango (ギャンゴ) is a mysterious meteorite-like lifeform from space that absorbs human brainwaves to transform and can materialize anything it imagines. After being stolen by Masayuki Onida, who sought to rule the world with monsters, it transformed into the Brainwave Monster Gyango. Initially, it was about human height, performing various pranks to scare people in a hotel. Later, it grew into a giant monster approximately 50 meters tall. As a non-organic lifeform, no attack could diminish its combat power; its only weakness was its rotating radar ears, which received brainwaves.
The "KRS × Sagata Kick Brainwave Monster Gyango" soft vinyl figure stands approximately 30 cm tall. Sculptor Sagata Kick handled both the sculpting and painting, imbuing Brainwave Monster Gyango with his unique style. Centered on two opposing charms—terrifying and cute—the figure captures Gyango's somewhat naive expression while realistically sculpting a set of fierce fangs. Utilizing ACRO's unique "U-VINYL technology" for metal mold firing, the sharp scales and keen claws are perfectly reproduced. The characteristic radar ears are particularly striking! The figure features a highly realistic biological paint application, with the vibrant, totem-like pattern on its chest rendered in rich colors.
