CCSTOYS, a Chinese toy brand, has announced the latest product in its alloy action figure 'MORTAL MIND' series, the 'Great Mazinkaiser [Heroic Specification]' from 'Shin Mazinger ZERO vs. Great General of Darkness', slated for release in June 2025.
Appearing in 'Shin Mazinger ZERO vs. Great General of Darkness', Great Mazinkaiser is a form evolved from the combination of the super robot 'Great Mazinger', independently developed by Kenzo Kabuto (son of Juzo Kabuto), and the 'Great Booster' enhancement unit. It achieves this form by simultaneously activating four Photon Power Engines to unleash its Mazin Power to the extreme. Known as the 'Great Emperor who surpasses the Great Hero', it possesses four stages of Mazin Power and is piloted by the highly skilled Tetsuya Tsurugi, yet it still could not withstand ZERO's unfair causality weapon.
The 'MORTAL MIND Great Mazinkaiser [Heroic Specification]' is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. Both the main body and accessories have been re-painted with special colors. For instance, the main body features various metallic paints with a black base, and the Great Booster on the back uses metallic reds of different shades, showcasing a heavier texture distinct from the standard version. This edition also includes new Mazin Fire effect parts with the character 'Justice' written on them, which can replace the original chest heat sink parts to create a unique look.
Other design aspects remain the same as the standard version. This Great Mazinkaiser is constructed from plastic and alloy parts, featuring a robust physique reminiscent of human muscles, with richly detailed internal frameworks, thrusters, and heat vents. It incorporates numerous modern 'cracked armor' style part separations, enhancing the layering of the exterior armor and wing designs. The Pilder on the head can replicate its transformation and combination, and the chest heat sink contains a light-up gimmick to reproduce the special move 'Mazin Fire'.
Accessories include a dedicated display stand, multiple interchangeable hand parts, two Great Swords, and a Mazinkaiser Blade measuring 30 cm in length. The arms can replicate the 'Great Mazinkaiser Punch' pose and the deployment of the knee blades through interchangeable parts. Furthermore, a set of gorgeously painted special hand parts and clear effect parts are included to recreate the cool 'Thunder Break' pose.
