Japanese publisher HobbyJAPAN's brand "HJ MODELER'S" has announced the release of its original robot model kit, "VAX-01 VALREIN," scheduled for December 2025.

The original robot "VAX-01 VALREIN" is derived from the "VALREIN" original robot model project launched by "HJ MODELER'S" in 2021. At that time, Japanese illustrator AMATOKI was invited to handle the mecha design, and renowned professional modeler SEIRA-MASUO was responsible for the detail design, jointly creating the first original robot, "VAX-00 VALREIN ZERO," which was then released as an unpainted GK kit.

Years later, the "VALREIN" project saw the original team design a successor model with enhanced performance, the "VAX-01 VALREIN." Its silhouette, body details, and weapon concepts are all more evolved than the VAX-00, and it is even challenging to be commercialized as a fully articulated model kit.

The "VAX-01 VALREIN" is presented in 1/144 scale, with a total height of approximately 17 cm. It is composed of four molded colors: white, red, dark blue, and clear blue, largely reproducing the complex shaping around the head and the precise mechanical details etched throughout the body, while also featuring a fully articulated design. Accessories include four pairs of interchangeable hands and a rich array of armaments such as a gigantic destruction sword and a rifle, allowing for dynamic battle poses.
