SEGA's iconic Yakuza series practically defined the Japanese gangster game genre, launching its first title in 2005 and spawning over a dozen spin-offs since. Its intricate character designs and sprawling storylines are legendary among fans.
Get ready for some seriously epic cosplay! Japanese cosplayer Parakin ( @baisyuu03 ) has absolutely nailed his portrayal of Goro Majima from the Yakuza series. His incredibly domineering look, spot-on expressions, and meticulously crafted tattoos and gangster attire have earned him widespread acclaim in the Japanese cosplay scene for their uncanny accuracy.

Parakin has been embodying Majima for years, regularly sharing his incredible cosplay photos on X (formerly Twitter) and attending events. A self-proclaimed Yakuza superfan, he started cosplaying after turning 50, humorously noting that his age actually makes his Majima portrayal even more beloved by fans – and he's thrilled about it!

His dedication to Goro Majima is next-level. Parakin meticulously cultivates a similar hairstyle and beard, carefully sources period-appropriate clothing, and even sports Majima's signature eye patch. While he doesn't have real tattoos, he achieves the look flawlessly with a flesh-colored tattoo suit. He even says that every time he dons the Majima gear, he feels completely energized – and honestly, we can see why!
