The new "Superman" film, written and directed by "Guardians of the Galaxy" trilogy filmmaker and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn, is set to hit theaters in just over a month. Following standard blockbuster promotional cycles, character posters are typically unveiled around this time, and true to form, the official accounts dropped a fresh batch across social media platforms tonight. The film is slated for a July 11 release in North America.

The star-studded cast for the new "Superman" includes David Corenswet as Superman, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, a member of The Authority. Also joining the ensemble are Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord, Sara Sampaio as Luthor's assistant Eve Teschmacher, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Earth father Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Earth mother Martha Kent, and Milly Alcock as Kryptonian cousin Supergirl.
