Remember that announcement? The legendary Yakuza 0: The Place of Oath Director's Cut is hitting Nintendo's brand-new Switch 2, packed with never-before-seen scenes that weren't in the original 2015 release!
To celebrate the Nintendo Switch 2's official launch today (June 5), the official YouTube channel for Yakuza 0: The Place of Oath Director's Cut dropped an absolutely epic live-action promo video titled "Having Fun with Friends!" – and it's already got fans buzzing!
The video stars three of Japan's most notoriously tough-guy actors: Hitoshi Ozawa (as Daisaku Kuze), Riki Takeuchi (as Hiroki Awano), and Hideo Nakano (as Keiji Shibusawa). These aren't just random tough guys; they're the original face models for these very characters in the Yakuza 0 series! Seeing them reprise their roles in person? Even more intimidating than in the game!
In the clip, the three "big brothers" storm into a room, confronting a young woman with some serious attitude: "You kept us waiting, huh? Big shot now, are we?" and "You know exactly why we called you here, don't you?" But the woman, unfazed, cheerfully replies, "Sorry to keep you waiting! Yakuza 0 is finally launching on Switch 2!"
Then, the mood instantly shifts! The three "big brothers" suddenly light up with excitement: "Forget golf, we're playing this!" and "Let's get this party started!" After their gaming session, they're still hyped: "This is too much fun!" and "Alright, go buy a Switch 2 for everyone in our crew!" But then, Takeuchi-san, with a perfectly straight face, interjects: "No way! Then regular folks won't be able to buy one!" — completely flipping the vibe into pure hilarity.

So wholesome, haha!", and "That woman who can get three Switch 2s? She's got serious connections!"
