Big news for "Chainsaw Man" fans! During AnimeJapan 2025 this past March, it was officially announced that Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga, "Chainsaw Man," is getting its first theatrical anime film, "Chainsaw Man Reze Arc," hitting theaters on September 19, 2025. Fans who've been patiently waiting are absolutely hyped!
We've previously featured Japanese cosplayer MIMARI's incredible Makima from "Chainsaw Man", and now we're shining a spotlight on another popular Japanese cosplayer, Amane Kudo ( @amanechan08 ). She also tackled the fan-favorite Makima, and her stunning accuracy and gorgeous looks have garnered massive attention from fans and netizens on X.
Amane Kudo herself is a huge fan of Makima, even writing "Kansai pioneer who loves Makima-san" in her X bio. She loves trying out various Makima outfits, and of course, she also cosplays other "Chainsaw Man" characters.
Recently, she shared photos of her Makima cosplay, inspired by the cover of "Chainsaw Man" manga volume 10, which went viral. However, some overseas commenters hilariously mistook it for an adult film.
With a high-EQ comeback, she responded: "Everyone, regardless of nationality, is commenting, 'I thought it was an AV!' Oh really~? So, that means you usually watch those kinds of AVs, huh?"
In fact, she's been cosplaying Makima for a long time, with many of her works perfectly capturing Makima's mysterious and slightly sinister charm, earning her a loyal fanbase.
