ANIMA, the sub-brand of Hi-Fi headphone maker Acoustune, has previously teamed up with popular anime series like Bocchi the Rock!, BanG Dream! MyGO/Ave Mujica, and the mobile game Blue Archive, all to great acclaim from fans.
Now, they're dropping a fresh collaboration with "Mobile Suit Gundam," featuring the iconic character Char Aznable! Get ready for the exclusive "ANIMA AOW03" over-ear headphones. Priced at 25,000 JPY, pre-orders kick off on August 6, 2025, via the ONKYO official website.
These headphones rock ANIMA's highly praised ANIMA AOW03 model, originally designed for jamming to anime tunes. They support both wired and wireless connections, giving music lovers total freedom in how they listen. Plus, with an epic 37-hour continuous playback on a single charge via USB Type-C, you'll be set for those long listening sessions!
The design for these collab headphones draws inspiration directly from the Principality of Zeon's ace pilot, Char Aznable. The right earcup's aluminum housing features the iconic Principality of Zeon emblem, while the left sports Char's personal insignia. Decked out in a sleek black and red color scheme, these headphones are instantly recognizable. And get this: the packaging features a specially drawn illustration of Char himself, helmet in hand, looking absolutely dashing while sporting the new collab headphones!
But here's the coolest part: the headphones come loaded with 15 original voice prompts from Char himself! From powering on and off, to Bluetooth pairing and touch controls, you'll have Char's voice guiding you every step of the way!
Beyond the headphones themselves, they're also dropping a lineup of awesome merchandise, including an acrylic stand, an aluminum headphone stand, and a carrying case. It's the perfect bundle for any Char fan to grab and collect!
