Tokyo Banana x Chiikawa Collaboration Drops Adorable Banana Pudding Cakes with Six New Character Designs!

Japan's renowned confectionery maker GRAPESTONE, behind the iconic Tokyo souvenir brand "Tokyo Banana," is teaming up once again with illustrator Nagano's beloved series "Chiikawa"! Following their wildly popular first collaboration, the duo is back with a new "Chiikawa Banana Pudding Cake," set to hit shelves on September 1, 2025.

The first collaboration was a massive hit, and this second round is leveling up with completely new packaging, a fresh cake flavor, and totally different designs.

Beyond the original Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, this new lineup introduces fan favorites Kurimanju, Momonga, and Kawauso! That's a total of six adorable character designs. Each fluffy sponge cake is adorned with these super cute illustrations – almost too precious to eat!

The flavor has also received a major upgrade. The banana content in the banana pudding custard filling has been boosted by 20%, delivering an even richer, fruitier taste. Plus, the filling now features a double layer of slightly bitter caramel cream, all wrapped up in that signature soft sponge cake. It's a next-level take on Tokyo Banana's classic flavor!

And let's talk about the packaging – it's just as meticulously designed! Featuring specially drawn, limited-edition illustrations, the boxes exude a lively and heartwarming vibe.

The design playfully emphasizes "making eye contact with the cute characters," with each character sporting sparkling, wide eyes that will melt your heart. Even the individual wrappers have a charming detail: characters peeking out from banana peels!

Grab an 8-piece set, and you'll also snag one of three brand-new, original stickers (randomly selected). Plus, it comes with a specially designed limited-edition paper bag, so you can carry home all that cuteness!
