Fujiko F. Fujio's classic "Doraemon" is a cherished childhood memory for many, boasting immense popularity from its early manga days to ongoing TV anime and annual blockbuster films. Its enduring charm is undeniable, proving its powerful appeal even today.
This year marks the series' 55th anniversary, and today (September 2), the official channels dropped a special 55th-anniversary illustration by none other than "Detective Conan" creator Gosho Aoyama! Fans are already raving about Aoyama-sensei's incredible artwork.

This special tribute project celebrates Doraemon's birthday (September 3) and the manga's 55th serialization anniversary. It was only fitting to have Shogakukan's pillar, Gosho Aoyama, create the celebratory artwork for the big day.
Fun fact: Aoyama previously drew a celebratory illustration for the "Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur 2006" movie in "CoroCoro Comic" back in 2006. This marks his first Doraemon illustration in quite some time!

The official word is that this project will feature messages and illustrations from top creators across the manga world, with more reveals coming soon! Keep your eyes peeled for more amazing artwork from your favorite mangaka!
