Like a Dragon Kiwami 3 Announced, Features Cast Changes Including Kagawa Teruyuki and Sho Kasamatsu

SEGA's RGG Studio dropped a bombshell today (9/24) during its "RGG SUMMIT 2025" online presentation, officially announcing a complete remake of the 2009 hit "Like a Dragon 3." Get ready for "Like a Dragon Kiwami 3," hitting multiple platforms on February 12, 2026!

"Like a Dragon Kiwami 3" is a full-blown remake built from the ground up on the original "Like a Dragon 3" foundation. It's powered by RGG Studio's very own "Dragon Engine," meaning revamped character models that deliver a stunningly realistic and high-quality visual experience.

However, this fresh coat of paint also means some cast changes from the 2009 original. Rikiya Shimabukuro, originally played by Tatsuya Fujiwara, will now be portrayed by Sho Kasamatsu. Shigeru Nakahara steps onto the scene with Ryo Ishibashi, and Goro Hamazaki is set to be played by none other than Kagawa Teruyuki.

Of course, this isn't just a visual upgrade! The remake also boasts a revamped action system and introduces brand-new story segments not found in the original. Plus, the official word is out: it will include a side story starring Yoshitaka Mine, titled "Like a Dragon 3 Gaiden: Dark Ties."
