Vogue magazine's fourth annual Vogue World fashion show recently kicked off with grand fanfare at Paramount Pictures Studios. This year's event honored the Hollywood film and television industry, with many actors and models sporting looks inspired by iconic movie costumes.

Among the attendees, those who directly wore original "Black Panther" costumes on the runway garnered the most attention. These included "Black Panther" cast members Danai Gurira, who plays Wakandan General Okoye, and Angela Bassett, who portrays Queen Ramonda. Additionally, singer Teyana Taylor (pictured right) also walked the runway in a Dora Milaje uniform.

However, the most discussed presence in this lineup among fans was likely British actor Damson Idris, who is set to co-star with Brad Pitt in the upcoming "F1" film this summer. Since last year, Idris has been consistently rumored as the new actor to take on the mantle of Black Panther (with some speculation suggesting he'd play a multiversal T'Challa, others T'Challa's son). Today, he appeared hand-in-hand with the Queen herself, Bassett, making it hard not to connect this appearance to a potential strategy by Marvel Studios to give Idris some early exposure.
