The latest entry in the Pokémon series, "Pokémon Legends: Z-A," dropped on October 16th, instantly sparking a massive online buzz. Players are raving about everything from the protagonist's outfit customization to the revamped battle system. No matter what, Pokémon has once again pulled players back into the Pokémon world for a brand new adventure.
This game amps up the action-game elements, meaning wild Pokémon in the overworld aren't afraid to throw down with your trainer. One particular trainer, after giving up their "First Blood" to a wild Pokémon, couldn't help but think, "Well, it *is* the series' flagship Pokémon."

On launch day, X user アゲント (@Karasu_Agent) shared a clip where they encountered a Pikachu while climbing a rooftop. Attempting a quick escape to the ground, they were met with a devastating "Thunderbolt" from Pikachu, instantly knocking out their character upon landing. Is "Pika-God" secretly a sniper?!

After watching the clip, netizens were quick to remember that Ash Ketchum, the anime's protagonist, is truly beyond human. From the show's debut to his departure, he's probably tanked over a thousand Thunderbolts and still walked it off – truly deserving of his "Ash-sama" title! Other users even suggested the trainer should've yelled "This feeling is so annoying!" to mimic Team Rocket. In previous games and the anime, we only ever saw other Pokémon or characters get zapped by Pikachu. But taking one yourself... yeah, Pika-God is no joke!
