Gundam's official fashion brand, STRICT-G, has frequently teamed up with renowned brand ALPHA INDUSTRIES, consistently dropping collaborations that leave Gundam fans' wallets weeping.
The duo recently announced another collaboration, unveiling a brand-new MA-1 flight jacket series inspired by "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans" and designed around protagonist Mikazuki Augus. Priced at 46,200 JPY, it's currently available for pre-order on Bandai's Japanese Premium Bandai website.
This latest release, centered on Mikazuki Augus, features character-themed patches strategically placed across the jacket – a signature of their collabs. What's more, the official team even commissioned special artwork showing Mikazuki himself rocking the jacket, giving fans a sneak peek!

This "Iron-Blooded Orphans" MA-1 doesn't just retain the classic MA-1 design details; it's crafted from a windproof, low-sheen fabric that effortlessly blends into both casual and streetwear styles.
The jacket comes in a classic military green, with the Tekkadan emblem embroidered on the right chest. The right sleeve features Mikazuki's personal emblem. A removable Velcro patch on the left chest hides a cool "MIKAZUKI AUGUS" Easter egg underneath. And for a truly commanding presence, the back boasts a large Tekkadan sheepskin leather patch!
