Fujimoto Tatsuki's hit manga "Chainsaw Man" has seen its first theatrical anime, "Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc," dominate the box office in both Japan and Taiwan. The film has been a massive success, topping the Japanese weekend box office for seven consecutive weeks and raking in an impressive 8.3 billion yen.
We've previously featured cosplayer Kaname Memi's incredible Reze work, but now it's time to shine a spotlight on another Japanese cosplayer who's been blowing up on X: Niihai (@niihai39). She's also taken on the immensely popular Reze, achieving a stunningly accurate portrayal with her costume and makeup, drawing tons of attention from fans and netizens alike.

The viral cosplayer in question is Niihai, who surprisingly only started cosplaying a year ago! In her post, she wrote, "Have I grown...? ←First Cosplay →One Year Later," sharing two side-by-side comparison photos of her work.
Her very first character challenge was "Chainsaw Man's" Kobeni Higashiyama. Even for a debut cosplay, she perfectly captured Kobeni's flustered yet adorable vibe, from the drooping eyebrows and slightly timid smile to that subtly unsure double peace sign pose.

Reze is also one of her absolute favorite characters, and with the movie generating so much buzz, her cosplay has naturally exploded online. One particular shot, featuring Reze facing Makima's silhouette, garnered nearly 100,000 likes, with many praising her for perfectly conveying Reze's helplessness and panic in that moment.

Sporting Reze's signature sleeveless shirt, black shorts, and over-the-knee socks, complete with a choker and meticulous hair and makeup, her captivating gaze earned widespread praise from netizens.

As a highly popular cosplayer, Niihai naturally has many other "Chainsaw Man" works! If you're a fan, be sure to check out her X account for new posts and updates!
