She started with Daiso paper plates as the foundation, then covered them with paper clay. Before the clay dried, she used a toothbrush to scrape and create that rough, ancient pottery texture. After painting, she sealed it with a matte protective spray. The finished product looks exactly like a genuine earthenware mask! The texture, cracks, and ruggedness are spot-on, making it impossible to tell it started as a simple paper plate.
