The anime "Bocchi the Rock!" exploded onto the scene with massive popularity and buzz, maintaining its high-octane discussion even after its first season concluded. Last year's compilation film drew huge crowds, and fans finally got the news they'd been waiting for this February: a second season is officially in production!
But hold onto your guitar picks, because today (December 8) brought an even bigger bombshell: Kessoku Band is set to make their first-ever overseas music festival appearance! They're heading to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for the "Megaport Festival 2026," performing on March 21-22, 2026, at the Pier-2 Art Center.

While this isn't Kessoku Band's absolute first overseas activity—they recently wrapped up a concert in South Korea—it marks their debut at an international music festival. Landing a spot at a major event like Megaport Festival in Kaohsiung is a huge milestone for the band!
For this special Megaport performance, Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Gotoh / Bocchi) and Ikumi Hasegawa (Ikuyo Kita) will be taking the stage. They'll be backed by an incredible lineup of top Japanese session musicians: Ritsuo Mitsui (Gt), Naoki Ikemoto (Gt), Yuichi Takama (Ba), and Osamu Hida (Dr). While it's a slight bummer that all four voice actors won't be able to attend, this setup promises an unforgettable live show for Kessoku Band's overseas festival debut.

Just a heads-up: tickets for Megaport Festival are notoriously tough to snag. If you're planning to catch this epic live show, you'll need to be quick on the draw!
