Cyberpunk 2077 Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Limited Edition XR Glasses: High-Tech Collector's Item Features Advanced AR Tracking

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of "Cyberpunk 2077," CD Projekt Red has partnered with wearable display brand Viture to announce the launch of the limited-edition "Viture x Cyberpunk 2077 5th Anniversary Collector's XR Glasses."

Limited to 10,000 units worldwide, these glasses are priced at $549 and are now available on the official website and select major retailers. Their design embodies Night City's iconic tech-noir aesthetic, featuring transparent black frames with neon yellow accents and the "Lü Zhixi" emblem printed on the temples, making them feel like a direct prop from the game brought to life.

Viture states that the new "Luma Cyber XR Glasses" combine the core advantages of two models from the Luma series, retaining the lightweight design of the Luma Pro while boasting the high-end performance of the Luma Ultra. The glasses feature Sony's latest-generation Micro-OLED panel, offering 1200p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, capable of projecting a large, private virtual screen equivalent to 152 inches, allowing users to watch videos, play games, or multitask in public spaces.

The lenses feature an electrochromic coating, which actively blocks light and protects privacy, maintaining high brightness and clarity whether in bright outdoor sunlight or dark indoor environments.

A key technological highlight of the Cyber XR is its Ultra-level 6DoF tracking system, which not only supports head movements but also detects body motion, providing greater depth for augmented reality applications. Additionally, its brightness has been boosted from 1000 nits to 1500 nits, and gesture control has been added, making XR interaction more intuitive.

The glasses support USB-C output, allowing direct connection to handheld consoles like the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Legion Go—a highly anticipated mobile gaming combination for many players. When connected to iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS devices, users can create up to three virtual screens via the official Spacewalker App, transforming the XR glasses from mere entertainment devices into a mobile workstation.

For Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 players, Viture has also launched the accompanying Pro Mobile Dock. This mobile dock provides both video output and power delivery, featuring a built-in 13000mAh battery capable of extending the Switch's battery life by eight hours. It is currently available on Amazon for a Black Friday deal of $99 and includes a free $19 dedicated console mount.

With these XR glasses, CD Projekt Red fully brings the iconic style of "Cyberpunk" and Night City's tech-visuals into the real world. For players looking to return to Night City in a more immersive way, this limited-edition collaboration clearly offers a brand-new way to experience it.
