Back in March, the U.S. remake of the hit Korean action thriller "The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" finally landed "Aquaman" filmmaker James Wan as director after four years in development with Sylvester Stallone producing. Now, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively revealed that Keanu Reeves is also in talks to star.
The original "The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" follows a detective and a mob boss who reluctantly team up to hunt down a serial killer. Ma Dong-seok is confirmed to reprise his role as crime boss Jang Dong-su, while details about Reeves’ potential character remain under wraps. He is expected to play either the detective or the killer.

The first draft of the U.S. remake was written by "A Knight’s Tale" director Brian Helgeland before Shay Hatten, who co-wrote both "Rebel Moon" films, was brought in for a rewrite. "Black Widow" screenwriter Eric Pearson penned the latest version of the script. Paramount Pictures will distribute the film.
