Yu-Gi-Oh! Booster Packs and Card Sleeves See Price Hike! Select Products to Adjust Prices Starting April 2026

The late manga artist Kazuki Takahashi's iconic creation, Yu-Gi-Oh!, hits its 25th anime anniversary this year. It remains an undisputed titan in the trading card game world, captivating duelists globally, not just across Asia.

However, the official announcement today (December 22) reveals a price adjustment for select products. Starting April 2026, certain booster packs and duelist card sleeves will see a price increase. This move has sparked considerable discussion among players, as it's a rare instance of the official distributor raising prices on card packs and sleeves.

On their official website, the company stated: "Due to product specification adjustments and other factors, prices for some products released from April 2026 onwards will be revised. We will continue our efforts to deliver more engaging and higher-quality products. We kindly ask for your understanding and continued support."

Here's a breakdown of the price adjustments (card packs and sleeves released before March 2026 will retain their current prices):

Booster Packs (Single Pack)

176 JPY (incl. tax) → 198 JPY (incl. tax)

242 JPY (incl. tax) → 264 JPY (incl. tax)

385 JPY (incl. tax) → 396 JPY (incl. tax)

Card Sleeves

70-count: 660 JPY (incl. tax) → 770 JPY (incl. tax)

100-count: 880 JPY (incl. tax) → 990 JPY (incl. tax)

For players, this round of price hikes will likely hit regular booster pack and card sleeve purchases the hardest. Naturally, the cost of buying full boxes will also increase, meaning duelists will need to factor in a bit more budget for deck building and card acquisition going forward.
