Jordan Peele, who transitioned from comedian to a modern horror maestro with "Get Out," has spent recent years not only directing original films like "Nope" and "Us" but also focusing on nurturing other horror creators through his production company. Unlike many directors, Peele has largely avoided helming sequels or remakes for established franchises. However, that long-standing rule now appears to be on the verge of being broken.

According to a recent scoop from well-known entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman on his Patreon page, Marvel Studios is reportedly looking to tap Peele to direct an upcoming film. Richtman did not specify which project Marvel has in mind. While Peele has yet to commit to Marvel, he may indeed have an opening in his schedule to join the MCU, as his previously slated fourth directorial feature, originally set for an October release next year, recently had its slot removed, and Peele has not yet announced any new projects.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Peele's production company, Monkeypaw, later shared the news of a potential Marvel collaboration on its official page, accompanied by a suspicious eyes emoji.
In the same report, Richtman also mentioned that "Strange Academy," the "Doctor Strange" spin-off series that was reportedly halted in February this year, has now re-entered development and is actively seeking new writers.
