Japan's biggest doujin convention, Comic Market (Comiket, C107), kicked off on December 30-31, drawing massive crowds on its first day. The venue was absolutely packed with cosplayers showing off their incredible creations.
Osaka-based cosplayer Pochi (@gs_pochi) handcrafted a mind-blowing Minecraft Creeper cosplay that first went viral when she dropped a making-of video for Halloween. Now, she's brought it to C107, and everyone's losing their minds over its incredible game-accurate movement, thanks to some clever hidden mechanisms. Seriously, it's uncanny!

The real genius behind this costume? It's got built-in motors in the legs, perfectly replicating the Creeper's iconic in-game walk. Plus, it's designed to fold up, making it super easy to transport. A video uploaded on December 29 absolutely blew up online, with netizens flooding the comments with praise like, "The movement is so realistic!" and "The dedication to this build is truly heartwarming."
Thanks to its internet fame, the costume was a massive hit at C107, drawing huge crowds eager to snap photos and interact with this adorable (and thankfully non-explosive) Creeper.

Pochi even teamed up with another cosplayer, @nankashittori_, who was dressed as a Super Starmie, for some hilarious interactions in the plaza.
Pochi also shared a video of herself actually wearing the Creeper costume, and seriously, the way it walks is *exactly* like in the game. LOL!
Pochi's latest creation truly showcases her incredible craftsmanship. If you're impressed, be sure to follow her on X—she's got tons more amazing work shared there!
