Marvel Studios' first series of the year, "Wonder Man," today unveiled its official trailer and a brand-new promotional poster (pictured below).
Synopsis: A veteran director named Von Kovak, who had retired, makes a comeback to reboot a superhero film titled "Wonder Man." Protagonist Simon Williams enthusiastically auditions and barely makes it into the final selection. Simon's pursuit of stardom will lead him into the real world of superheroes, where he gains genuine superpowers.

"Wonder Man" stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, known for his role as Black Manta in the "Aquaman" franchise. Ben Kingsley, who played the fake Mandarin, Trevor Slattery, in "Iron Man 3" and "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings," also returns. "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" director Destin Daniel Cretton serves as showrunner. The series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on January 27.
