Get ready to relive the earth-shattering "Rumbling" on the big screen! "Attack on Titan Final Chapter: THE LAST ATTACK," a compilation of "Attack on Titan The Final Season Final Chapters Special" Parts 1 and 2, is making a triumphant return to theaters in Japan and Taiwan.
On the 9th, a special stage event was held in Tokyo for the premiere, featuring Eren's voice actor Yuki Kaji, Mikasa's voice actress Yui Ishikawa, Armin's voice actress Marina Inoue, and director Yuichiro Hayashi. But the real surprise? Original creator Hajime Isayama sent a message to the audience!

As the event neared its end, the organizers dropped Isayama's message, leaving the voice actors on stage visibly stunned. The host read the message aloud, where Isayama confessed: "It's been several years since the manga serialization and anime broadcast concluded, but honestly, I'm not really working right now. Occasionally, I'm asked to draw illustrations, sign autographs, or lend a hand to Yuki Kaji's 'Soyogi Project,' but I barely draw on a daily basis anymore."
However, he quickly clarified that his life isn't quite the slacker paradise some might imagine:
"I'm not living a decadent life; in fact, I'm quite busy every day, so please believe me on that. My current life is completely different from the 'NEET life' I fantasized about during serialization. Even if I weren't so busy now, I probably couldn't create another work like 'Attack on Titan.' The moment I pick up a pen, it just turns into a silhouette of some element I've already drawn in 'Attack on Titan.' It was my first serialized work, born after I completely emptied everything from my heart." He concluded by expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the anime's voice cast and production team.

In response, Yuki Kaji mentioned that he had met Isayama privately last year and felt "he looked very well." Kaji praised Isayama's monumental achievement in creating "Attack on Titan" and shared his deep empathy for the immense pressure of "building a national-level work from scratch," expressing his anticipation for Isayama's future endeavors.

"Attack on Titan Final Chapter: THE LAST ATTACK" is hitting Dolby Cinemas in Japan starting on the 9th, and fans in Taiwan can catch it back in theaters from January 23rd. If you want to relive the epic or experience it for the first time, now's your chance!
