The theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: Circe's Witch" just hit Japanese cinemas yesterday (1/30) to massive fan acclaim and strong box office numbers.
Meanwhile, the card arcade game "Gundam Arsenal Base" just dropped its "Valentine's Festival 2026 Card Pack Event," a yearly tradition. But this year, the Hathaway Noa card features an illustration with none other than Quess Paraya! And get this – it can be combined with the original Hathaway card, creating a scene so wild, fans are calling the devs absolutely ruthless.
This 2026 Valentine's exclusive Hathaway card is a special drop for players at participating arcades. The twist? Hathaway is only a half-body, with a full-body Quess Paraya right beside him. The official word is that it combines with the regular PR-410 Hathaway card to form one complete image, and that's where the magic happens... an absolutely impossible love triangle!
On the regular card, you've got Gigi Andalucia, the leading lady from "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway." Then there's Quess Paraya... the girl young Hathaway met in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack." And Quess's fate? Well, if you know, you know. Oof.
Combine them, and you get a visibly troubled Hathaway caught in an impossible love triangle with two women who absolutely cannot coexist.
The official post's comments section exploded with fans asking, "Do these devs even have a heart?!" A Valentine's card, doing *this*? Seriously? Some even pointed out that casual observers might just think Hathaway is a ladies' man, but real fans know he's in absolute agony.
Let's be real, Hathaway's whole vibe? Totally tied to Quess. And then his fateful meeting with Gigi in "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway" just piles on the angst. His face on that card? Pure, unadulterated suffering.
And this isn't even "Gundam Arsenal Base's" first rodeo! They once released a Quess Paraya card that *literally* showed Gigi's reflection in a mirror. Seriously, devs, you're on another level.
