The animated theatrical film "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: Circe's Witch," which officially premiered in Japan last Friday (January 30), has already garnered rave reviews from fans and is exceeding box office expectations.
Today, the official team announced that "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: Circe's Witch" absolutely crushed its opening three-day weekend (January 30 – February 1), pulling in a whopping ¥840 million at the box office and drawing over 510,000 moviegoers! This stellar performance is a massive 162% higher than the first chapter, "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway," making it an undeniable success.

To celebrate the release, the official team also dropped a commemorative mechanical visual, depicting a breathtaking, high-octane moment as Hathaway and Lane engage in an intense Mobile Suit battle over Australia's Uluru (Ayers Rock), the film's climactic battleground. Talk about immersive!

And to mark the premiere, a brand-new PV was released, featuring the iconic Guns N' Roses hit "Sweet Child O' Mine" as the ending theme. The PV gives us a glimpse of Hathaway's intense struggle, still unable to let go of his feelings for Gigi. Meanwhile, Gigi wields a mysterious power that could sway the tide of battle, and her feelings for Hathaway are clearly deepening. Their intertwined, complex relationship is laid bare for all to see.
