Even though the MLB season is still a ways off, and we've got the World Baseball Classic (WBC) to look forward to first, some teams are already getting a head start on the hype train.
Yesterday, the official X account dropped a bombshell: the Milwaukee Brewers are hosting a "Naruto" themed night on August 5th when they face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates! And get this – they're giving away exclusive "Naruto" jerseys to fans in attendance. The reveal sent American fans into an absolute frenzy, with even Japanese netizens showering it with praise.
This eye-catching jersey features multiple dark blue clouds printed on both the front and back. The real showstopper? The back boasts an illustration of "Naruto" protagonist Naruto Uzumaki, alongside a massive "NARUTO" logo, giving the whole piece an undeniable swagger. The team also announced that beyond the free themed baseball jersey, the stadium will be packed with "Naruto" activities and decorations, culminating in a laser light show after the game.
Given the massive "Naruto" fanbase in the US, this announcement has countless fans already planning their pilgrimage to Wisconsin for the "NARUTO™ Night" in August.
As soon as the news hit X, American fans couldn't contain their excitement, flooding the comments with reactions like: "No way, this is too good!!", "Absolutely fire", "Ugh, I seriously need this, I'm heading to Wisconsin!", "I'm not even into anime, but this jersey is legit", and "I have zero love for the Brewers, but I HAVE to get this one." Clearly, everyone is stoked about the design.
Even on Reddit, the discussion is buzzing, with many hoping to see players pull off the iconic "Naruto run" on the field – after all, plenty of players grew up loving "Naruto" too.
