Resident Evil Teams Up with Bio-Art Collective LOM BABY for Global "T-Virus" Debut at Shibuya PARCO Pop-Up!

CAPCOM's smash-hit game series, Resident Evil, needs no introduction. It's a legendary and best-selling horror franchise that's been terrifying players since its debut in 1996, spawning over a dozen titles.

As we previously reported, the "THE AUTHENTIC OFFICE" event at Shibuya PARCO on February 13-14, 2026, is set to host the global premiere of the T-virus. Today, the official exhibition details have dropped, giving us a peek at what this mysterious event has in store.

The event is spearheaded by the bio-art collective "LOM BABY," a group comprising artists, engineers, and scientists. They've previously made waves in the cross-disciplinary art scene with provocative works like "Dragon Meat" and "Artificial Aliens."

This exhibition blends cutting-edge biotechnology with the Resident Evil series, synthesizing the franchise's iconic symbol: the T-virus. The display features a non-pathogenic, inactivated "T-virus," meticulously stored in specialized capsules and making its global debut at Shibuya PARCO.

※Please note: This exhibition is a "fictional creation" built from a scientific perspective and does not represent a real-world T-virus. Rest assured.

LOM BABY, based in Shibuya, is literally moving their office/research lab directly into Shibuya PARCO for a limited two-day public showcase.

On-site, you'll get to see:

An energy drink supposedly containing "wing-growing ingredients (Pegasus DNA)"

The "Dragon Meat" that caused a stir at the World Expo

"Artificial Aliens (DNA figures)"

...and more! The exhibition itself is presented as "the creative and research site," fully showcasing LOM BABY's latest tech and aesthetic.

The event also features:

A bio 3D printer demonstration with "CYFUSE," revealing physical replicas of artificial cell materials

An experience with the latest version of the autonomous image generation AI "ZQ"

"PLUS ULTRA × $villain," a device that grants "eternal life" through DNA × blockchain technology

And there's even more to be announced, including "AI technology utilizing brainwaves," all blending themes of science and fantasy. While it's definitely a promotional stunt, given LOM BABY's capabilities and the official Resident Evil collaboration, we can probably expect a highly realistic and immersive presentation!
