ONKYO's sub-brand, ANIMA, has previously teamed up with fan-favorite IPs like "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway's Flash: Circe's Witch" and "BanG Dream! MyGO/Ave Mujica", much to the delight of consumers.
Now, they're dropping an epic collaboration with "SAKAMOTO DAYS"—which is also getting a live-action movie adaptation premiering in late April—to release exclusive "ANIMA AOW03" over-ear headphones. These bad boys come with voice prompts from three iconic characters: Taro Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Rion Akasaka. Priced at 25,000 JPY, pre-orders are already live on ONKYO's official website.
The headphones leverage ANIMA's highly acclaimed ANIMA AOW03 model, originally designed for an immersive anime music experience. These versatile Bluetooth over-ear headphones support both wired and wireless use, boast an impressive 37 hours of continuous playback, and charge up quickly via USB Type-C.
For this collaboration, the design takes cues from the series' assassin-filled world, featuring a subtle yet striking "crosshair" motif. One side sports a "locked-on" graphic, while the other shows a "hit" target, keeping it sleek and simple.
The real highlight? Brand-new voice guides recorded by the original voice actors for Taro Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Rion Akasaka. When you snag your pair, your chosen character's voice will be pre-installed, guiding you through everything from power on/off and Bluetooth pairing to touch prompts, with a total of 15 unique voice segments.

And here's the kicker: through the dedicated "ANIMA Studio" app, you can download other character voices (exclusively for collaboration headphone owners). So, one pair of headphones could potentially give you all three awesome voices!
Beyond the headphones themselves, a whole slew of sweet merchandise is also dropping, including A4 clear files, acrylic stands, badges, T-shirts, aluminum headphone stands, and headphone pouches. Each item features brand-new, specially drawn illustrations of the characters, all rocking their new headphones.
