Now, the adorable crew is teaming up with Japanese streetwear brand 9090 for a fresh collaboration! Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and Momonga are getting a fabulous "Heisei-era gyaru" makeover, complete with tanned skin. Pre-orders for the collection kick off on March 13.
Known for its 90s and 2000s youth culture aesthetic, Japanese streetwear brand 9090 is making magic happen with this "Chiikawa" crossover. Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and Momonga are all rocking the "tanned gyaru" look. Not only do they sport a bronze glow, but they're also decked out in school uniforms and striking classic Heisei-era poses like the "chin peace sign" or the "double peace sign."
The collab features a range of goodies, including T-shirts, cotton sweatpants, and plush keychains, all infused with that full-on retro Heisei gyaru vibe.
So far, the spotlight's on the super eye-catching plush keychains, showcasing our beloved Chiikawa characters perfectly embodying the iconic Heisei-era gyaru style with their tanned skin.
