Hololive's Hoshimachi Suisei Launches Personal Agency "STUDIO STELLER" for Her "Next Stage" While Remaining a Hololive Member!

Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい), the powerhouse vocalist and "zero-generation" talent from Cover Corp's Japanese VTuber agency Hololive, has been soaring in popularity, boasting over 2.85 million subscribers.

During her 8th-anniversary acoustic concert, the "Hoshimachi Suisei Major Announcement LIVE," held on March 22, Suisei officially dropped a bombshell: she's established her very own personal agency, "STUDIO STELLER"! This new venture will handle all her future activities. But don't fret, fans – she'll absolutely continue her activities as "Hoshimachi Suisei," a talent under Hololive Production.

From now on, all her solo artist activities will be managed by "STUDIO STELLER." This big reveal also came with a fresh new logo, a symbolic emblem, updated artist visuals, plus the launch of an official website, official X (formerly Twitter) account, and her official fan club, "Hoshiyomi" (星詠み).

And that's not all! Suisei also announced her upcoming Arena Tour, "Once Upon a Stellar," kicking off on September 8 at Yokohama K Arena. Plus, fans can look forward to the second concert for her music project, Midnight Grand Orchestra, titled "project allegro," which is also confirmed!

Cover Corp quickly followed up with their own announcement, confirming that the establishment of Suisei's personal agency is a strategic move to tackle the "next stage" of VTuber culture. The goal? To supercharge Hoshimachi Suisei's career as a musician and transition to a new support system.

This exciting development comes after extensive discussions about her future direction. To achieve her ultimate dream—performing at the Tokyo Dome—and to make a deeper push into the mainstream music market, the personal agency was formed, shifting her focus towards individual musician activities. Given her past achievements and undeniable passion, this structural adjustment (including the new agency) is deemed essential to sharpen her musical focus and elevate her career to the next level. Cover also believes this bold challenge will expand the horizons of VTubers, marking a significant step towards their mission of becoming a "culture loved worldwide."

Of course, in the Japanese entertainment industry, it's quite common for successful artists to establish their own agencies. Typically, they continue to collaborate closely with their original company (like Cover in this case), coordinating activities, merchandise planning, and more with the company and relevant parties.

This move could very well be Hoshimachi Suisei's strategic play to conquer an even larger mainstream presence. We can't wait to see what she achieves next!
