EVA STORE Unveils "Apostle Sealing Curse Pattern" Apparel – Time to Become the Angel!

Celebrating its 30th anniversary since the TV anime first aired, the ever-popular Neon Genesis Evangelion continues to churn out collaborations, a testament to its enduring appeal over three decades.

The official "EVANGELION STORE" recently announced a new long-sleeve T-shirt featuring the iconic "Apostle Sealing Curse Pattern" from the series. Priced at 9,900 JPY, it's currently available for order on the EVA STORE online shop.

The "Apostle Sealing Curse Pattern" is a key element introduced in the "Rebuild of Evangelion" films. These special runes are used to seal Angels, often seen on DSS Chokers or Nerv facilities to suppress their powers. This very pattern even appeared on Asuka's eyepatch later on, unleashing her Angelic abilities during the final battle in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time."

Now, EVA STORE is taking this seemingly enigmatic "Apostle Sealing Curse Pattern" and directly incorporating it into apparel design, featuring a dense arrangement of the motifs in a striking black and red color scheme.

The shirt itself is black, contrasted by the slightly shimmering red "Apostle Sealing Curse Pattern" rendered in a glittery material, giving it a powerful presence. A subtle yet significant detail on the chest is the "Golgotha Object" (ゴルゴダオブジェクト) graphic – the cross-shaped entity that appeared in the sky during the Impacts – also featured prominently on the garment.

They've also dropped a matching mug, commemorating the fifth anniversary of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time."
