Nintendo Switch 2 Leak Exposes Future Game Lineup, Former Nintendo Employee Says Company Is "Absolutely Furious" and in Unprecedented Crisis

Nintendo is reportedly "absolutely furious" over a massive leak of Nintendo Switch 2 game information, with former Nintendo employee Kit Ellis describing the company as facing an "unprecedented" situation. The leaked details cover multiple new titles slated for 2026-2027, making it arguably the most comprehensive Nintendo product lineup exposure in years.

According to prominent leaker Natethehate, Nintendo's future plans include a remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," expected to launch during this year's Christmas season. Additionally, a brand-new "Star Fox" title and a new "Switch Sports" entry are reportedly set for a summer release.

The leak also suggests that previously announced titles like "Splatoon Raiders," "Rhythm Heaven: Miracle Stars," and "Fire Emblem: Myriad Hues" are set for an imminent release. Furthermore, enhanced Switch 2 versions of "Pikmin 4" and "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" are also said to be in the pipeline.

"This isn't someone leaking a few days before a Nintendo Direct; this is the entire future lineup being revealed," Ellis stated. He emphasized that Nintendo has long relied on surprise announcements, and a leak of this magnitude directly impacts the company's marketing rhythm and promotional strategies.

Ellis further elaborated that while Nintendo has dealt with leaks in the past, the scale and impact of this particular incident are entirely different. He believes Nintendo is now in "uncharted territory," and how the company addresses this leak will become one of its top priorities moving forward.

Adding to the bombshells, the leak also indicates that the long-awaited new 3D "Mario" title will not be released in 2026. This news is undoubtedly a major blow to fans who have been patiently waiting for nearly a decade since the launch of "Super Mario Odyssey."

As of now, Nintendo has not officially responded to the leak, and reports suggest the company has no major announcements planned before this summer's Nintendo Direct.
