Japanese audio brand ONKYO, known for its frequent collaborations with various anime IPs, has previously teamed up with hits like Mobile Suit Gundam and Solo Leveling, all to great acclaim.
Now, they're joining forces with the beloved series Zombieland Saga, fresh off its theatrical release of "Zombieland Saga the Movie: Zombie Land Saga The First Zombie". Following the first wave featuring four characters, ONKYO is dropping a second round of collaborative wireless Bluetooth earbuds, this time designed after the remaining three members of Franchouchou. Priced at 20,000 JPY, these are currently available for pre-order on ONKYO's official website.
Zombieland Saga is an original anime born from a three-way collaboration between MAPPA, avex pictures, and Cygames. Its first season aired in October 2018, quickly winning over fans with its unique "zombie x idol x Saga Prefecture" premise. A second anime season followed in 2021, and last year saw the release of "Zombieland Saga the Movie: Zombie Land Saga The First Zombie," which also performed well in Taiwan.
This latest drop features three members from Franchouchou: Saki Nikaido, Yugiri, and Lily Hoshikawa. With these, the entire idol group is now complete! Design-wise, the charging cases sport each character's signature, while the earbuds themselves feature a bow and badge motif in their respective character colors on the left and right.
The earbuds themselves are the "CP-TWS01E" model, boasting practical features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), low-latency mode, and everyday water resistance. Plus, they come in exclusive artwork packaging designed just for this collaboration.
And of course, each model comes loaded with system voice prompts from the characters' voice actors, featuring around 13 unique voice lines so you can enjoy your music time right alongside your favorite idol!
