Houbunsha's anime hit Bocchi the Rock! exploded onto the scene with massive popularity and buzz, and even after its first season wrapped, the hype hasn't died down. The recent compilation film drew huge crowds, and fans rejoiced last February when a second season was officially greenlit.
Now, ANIPLEX Japan has dropped some exciting news: they're releasing a collaborative electric guitar, the "Gibson/Epiphone Les Paul Jr. Ikuyo Kita Model"! This isn't just one guitar, though. They're faithfully recreating Ikuyo Kita's iconic in-show axe in two distinct versions: a premium Gibson USA model and an Epiphone "Inspired by Gibson Custom" series for a more accessible option. Pre-orders are currently open via a lottery system on the ANIPLEX official website.
Remember when they dropped Hitori "Bocchi" Gotoh's signature guitar? Well, now it's Ikuyo Kita's turn! They're bringing her Les Paul Jr. Double Cutaway from the series to life, again in two distinct flavors: a high-end Gibson version and a more budget-friendly Epiphone model, each with its own unique specs.
