The arcade card game Mobile Suit Gundam Arsenal Base just dropped its latest secret card, and fans are losing it! For the first time ever, Rau Le Creuset from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED appears as a hidden card, not only maskless but also sporting a rare smile. The reveal immediately sent the internet into a frenzy.
This new addition is part of the "Mobile Suit Gundam Arsenal Base Booster Pack [SEED Series Vol.3]," which goes live for pre-order at noon on the 16th. It features a lineup of popular characters from all three SEED series titles.
But the real showstopper is this hidden Rau Le Creuset card. As a ZAFT officer and superior to characters like Athrun, Creuset is famously always masked, his true face a mystery. Yet, this brand-new artwork throws all that out the window, depicting him maskless and smiling, revealing his entire face! It instantly grabbed fan attention.
Seriously, a maskless, smiling Creuset is practically unheard of in the anime, making this an absolute unicorn for long-time fans. Netizens flooded the comments, exclaiming, "Arsenal Base's card art is just too good!" "Captain Creuset showing his full face like this is super rare, isn't it!?" "Are those Rey and Talia in front of him? Wow, you can actually make such a gentle expression…" and "I don't recognize a Creuset this handsome!"
Of course, Gundam Arsenal Base is known for consistently releasing stunning new art cards, turning many players into avid collectors. And perhaps, a gentle Creuset like this can only ever be found right here. LOL.
