Sam Neill, the 78-year-old New Zealand actor globally renowned for his role in the "Jurassic Park" franchise, ">unexpectedly disclosed three years ago that he had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2022. His battle with cancer inspired him to begin writing his memoir early, anticipating a potentially limited future. However, Neill's prognosis appears far less grim than he initially feared; he mentioned improving three years ago and has now announced that his body is free of cancer cells.

Neill recently spoke with Australian outlet "7News" to share details of his cancer treatment journey, hoping that his successful regimen could benefit others. He explained during the program that he had been living with a specific type of lymphoma for five years, undergoing chemotherapy that, while painful, kept him alive. When chemotherapy eventually failed, Neill stated he felt lost and believed he was "moving towards death," an outcome he clearly did not desire.

Neill recounted that he subsequently opted for CAR-T cell therapy, a method involving the genetic modification of a patient's blood cells. This therapy is currently undergoing clinical trials for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Neill joyfully revealed that he had just received scan results showing no cancer cells in his body, describing the outcome as "incredible."
