"My Hero Academia," whose final anime season premiered last October, is celebrating its 10th anime anniversary this year! On May 2nd, a special anime episode titled "More," adapted from the manga's final volume, also aired.
Today, the official channels dropped another bombshell: a special short manga from the "My Hero Academia Ultra Age" fanbook, set to launch in December 2024, is getting an anime adaptation! Titled "I am a hero too," this short anime's release date is still under wraps.

This original story, personally drawn by Kohei Horikoshi-sensei, picks up after the manga's conclusion and the anime's final episode. It chronicles a small tale about a grown-up Eri, now a high school student, during a visit back to U.A. High.
Given the manga's short length, an anime short adaptation isn't a huge surprise. However, for many fans, this is one of the rare continuations of Eri's story, making its anime adaptation a pretty big deal!
