The animated film "The Irregular at Magic High School The Movie: Yotsuba Succession Arc" recently hit theaters in Japan, and to celebrate, the official X (formerly Twitter) account dropped a special commemorative ad. But here's the kicker: this billboard is almost completely blank!
The official "The Irregular at Magic High School" X account posted photos of the ad at JR Ikebukuro Station, quipping, "As expected of Onii-sama, he even made the ad disappear!" The entire billboard is practically pure white. Unless you get up close, most passersby would probably just assume it's an unfinished blank space.
This genius marketing move plays on Tatsuya Shiba's most iconic ability: "Decomposition." The ad is designed to look like it's been erased or decomposed to near invisibility, a nod that fans are absolutely loving.

Fans are cracking up, calling it "ad decomposition" instead of "magic decomposition." Many also joked that after seeing the official post, they could practically hear Miyuki's voice narrating in their heads. And hey, some even think this unconventional ad strategy makes it even more eye-catching!

Others pointed out that prime ad space at Ikebukuro Station doesn't come cheap. "This must cost a fortune to advertise here... Onii-sama's thinking really is on another level!" one netizen commented.

This special commemorative ad is located at JR Ikebukuro Station's "Panorama Ikebukuro A," near the North Passage outside the ticket gates. It's on display from May 11 to May 17, 2026. If you're in the area, make sure to check it out before it disappears for good!
